The HubStudio is very proud to have McGregor Casting Director, Stevie Ray at the HubStudio in Sydney for a one day workshop date below. Stevie alongside McGregor Casting as a company are one of the most prolific and trusted casting businesses in the country.

This is an exclusive opportunity to work with Stevie in one full day intensive casting workshop. It’s a perfect opportunity to show him your skills and learn from one of the most approachable and experienced Casting Directors in the business. 

The workshop will be run similar to a real casting, only Stevie will be there to give you an inside view of how it works. He will guide, nurture and give you feedback. Before the start of class you will select a scene to prepare and learn for the day, either from the pool of scenes Stevie provides, or a scene you have independently chosen.

About Stevie Ray

Stevie Ray is a senior casting director at McGregor Casting with over 17 years’ experience across film, television, and commercial work. His credits include Babyteeth (AACTA Award winner), Colin from Accounts (CGA Award winner), Penguin Bloom, Troppo, Wolf Like Me, Diary of an Uber Driver, Spiderhead, and Thai Cave Rescue. Known for his sharp eye for emerging talent and a deep understanding of storytelling through performance, Stevie has become one of Australia’s most respected casting voices. He’s also Treasurer of the Casting Guild of Australia and regularly runs workshops and masterclasses helping actors navigate the audition process with clarity and confidence.
