Join us for a rare and exclusive one-off casting workshop with the renowned Anousha Zarkesh Casting in MELBOURNE. Anousha Zarkesh is a multi-award-winning casting director, recently honoured with the 2024 AACTA Award and multiple 2025 Casting Guild of Australia (CGA) Awards, including Best Casting in a Feature Film for The Correspondent and Best Casting in a TV Drama for Mystery Road: Origin Season 2.
Established for over 25 years, Anousha Zarkesh Casting specialises in a broad range of prominent and often prestigious Australian Film and Television productions. Based in Sydney, this casting agency is known for its specialised service, championing cultural diversity and local Indigenous talent. With experience across genres including political satire, drama, comedy, telemovies, documentary series, and film, Anousha Zarkesh Casting has built a stellar reputation in the industry.

About Anousha
AACTA and Casting Guild Award (CGA) winner, Anousha Zarkesh has been a Casting Director for over 25 years, specialising in Australian TV and film for a wide range of genres including political satire, drama, comedy, tele-movies, documentary series and film.
Productions include: Firebite, Total Control, Rake, High Ground, Mystery Road, Sweet Country, Black Comedy, Operation Buffalo, Hounds of Love, Deep Water, Cleverman, The Principal, Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door, Redfern Now, Suburban Mayhem, Beautiful Kate, Underbelly Series, Mabo, Mary Bryant, Jasper Jones to name a few.
Thomas Wright’s recent feature film, The Stranger, will be in competition in Uncertain Regard at Cannes Film Festival 2022.
Anousha is currently Vice President of the Casting Guild of Australia (CGA),Vice President of Screen Illawarra and an active member of Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the CGA.
