Course Overview

This four week series then is a rotating workshop where each week the 12 actors will run a chosen scene in a casting environment so you can be craft ready to nail that next audition. It can either be a scene (or advert brief) you are about to audition for, one we choose, or one you would like to work further on. It’s up to you..

“With the philosophy that acting is primarily listening and responding, through this series you will develop skills in how to relax and free yourself of self-consciousness in front of the camera; how to communicate with truth, power and vulnerability. We will also focus on scene analysis and how to perform an intention with simplicity, working off a scene partner moment to moment.” – Michael Booth

We are very proud to have Michael Booth return to the HubStudio. Michael has been acting, directing and writing for 20 years in both film & theatre across the board. He is very active in the local Sydney scene and has a wealth of knowledge about the film process. Michael’s insight and excitement for actors and the arts is infectious; and we believe you are going to fall in love with his passion and process. Come Join Us!
