In a continued effort to make our programs as accessible as possible for professional working actors, The HubStudio is now providing a weekly direct debit option across all courses.

How Does It Work?

Its super easy, through the normal course application process we will ask if you want to pay in full upfront, or via a weekly direct debit from your nominated bank account.

If you select direct debit we will email you an electronic form using the Ezidebit system. Once you have filled out the e-form and entered your bank account, or credit card details the course payments will be automatically debited on a weekly payment cycle until the course is paid in full. It’s just like a gym membership, each week the funds are debited and if there’s a problem we’ll let you know.

The system we have chosen to use is Ezidebit. They charge various small fees based on how you are paying. In a nutshell there are two payments; a $1.50 set up fee for new customers only, and a transaction fee on each payment made. For direct debit from an everyday cash account they only charge 0.99c per transaction. For credit card they charge a percentage (1.75% or 3.8%) depending on what kind of credit card you are using. How much will it cost? 

On average it will cost each actor less than $10.00 to use direct debit. Please note The HubStudio is not charging any additional fees for use of the system, however there is a small fee charged by our supplier. 

If most actors use a credit card to pay for their course, then on average using the direct debit system will cost 1.7% (Visa & Mastercard) of the overall course. Our courses are generally either $260, $360, or $480, with the additional charges being either $4.55, $6.30 and $8.40 respectively. If you chose to direct debit from a cash account then the additional charges would be $8.99 

In the rare event that your payment fails due to lack of funds, the supplier will charge you an additional $11.90 on the next debit attempt and the studio will be charged 0.99c.

Breakdown Example

If you chose to do the Kevin Jackson Masterclass for example the fee breakdown would be as follows;

$480.00 for the course

$1.50 set up fee

$8.40 transaction fees if using Visa or Mastercard

Total = $489.90

Additional Fees & Charges are $9.90 of the above total.
