Course Overview

Introduction to Clown aims to help the actor discover their sense of pleasure, fun and freedom on stage. Through game, play and improvisation we will uncover what is funny about you and give you the confidence to be yourself, free from inhibitions. The clown is curious, light in spirit and says Yes! to everything and as actors it encourages us to be open and offer something special of ourselves. We often hear casting agents and directors are looking for the X-Factor -well the clown encompasses the ultimate X-factor, what we are all searching for as artists -the freedom and courage to be yourself and they are loved by all.
