Matt Edgerton Acting Masterclass
Acting Masterclass: Grow as an artist. Make great choices. Find your creative flow.
Our first two classes will involve a close study of texts as a group, after which participants will prepare scripts to workshop and perform in the room each week. Guided by Stella Adler’s maxim ‘your talent lies in your choices’, these classes will take participants from a close analysis of text to vividly realised performances. Great text demands rigour and creative courage from the actor, but the reward for this is artistic growth and creative flow!
In this one day course, you will learn:
- Build unique and detailed characters from a close study of text
- Make authentic connections with your audience and other performers
- Learn to maintain composure under pressure
- Deepen your presence and curiosity in each moment
