Course Overview
This special series with Kevin Jackson is designed for actors who want to gain a fundamental insight into Kevin’s personal technique for actors. It is not a beginners acting course. This course comes highly recommended for those working professionals looking to gain detailed insights into the artistic process. Kevin will teach you script analysis, character development techniques and detailed grammatical work, changing your professional mindset and lifting your focus, forcing you to be the best artist you can be. Think of this intensive as the nuts and bolts of the actors tool kit, a great refresher or a detailed look into another type of process.
Course Outline
The course is broken down into a few main areas of discovery. We explore each of these areas through the below structure.

- Close Reading

- Personlisation Technqiues
- Use of the Stanivlavski Questions
Course Outcomes
This masterclass will equip you with all the necessary techniques to develop any character for any script. This is a base line fundamental understanding of Kevin’s acting technique.

About Kevin Jackson
Kevin Jackson is one of the country’s most experienced acting teachers. In 2011 he retired from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) after more than twenty years service to the school, and in the process trained some of the most prominent and emerging actors in the industry today. For more than fourteen years Kevin also taught at the American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) in San Francisco, and more recently at The Actors Center in Sydney and now at The HubStudio. Graduates Kevin has taught during his time at NIDA include, Baz Luhrmann, Richard Roxburgh, Jacqueline McKenzie, Miranda Otto, Cate Blanchett, Essie Davis, Nicholas Bishop & Sam Worthington.
