Kevin Jackson Technique – Series 15 On-Going
An eight-week On-Going version of the technique series for professional working actors

This very special eight-week series is designed for actors who want to gain a fundamental insight into Kevin’s personal technique for actors in a practical manor. It is not a beginners acting course. Over eight weeks each participant will various scenes; looking at all aspects of the craft, presented to the group for detailed analysis and feedback. This course comes highly recommended for those working professionals looking to gain detailed insights into the artistic process.
Through practical scene work Kevin will teach you script analysis, character development techniques and detailed grammatical work, changing your professional mindset and lifting your focus, forcing you to be the best artist you can be. Think of this series as the nuts and bolts of the actors tool kit, a great refresher or a detailed look into another type of process.
Kevin Jackson is one of the countries most experienced acting teachers. In 2011 he retired from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) after more than twenty years service to the school, and in the process trained some of the most prominent and emerging actors in the industry today. For more than fourteen years Kevin also taught at the American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) in San Francisco, and more recently at The Actors Center in Sydney and now at The HubStudio. Graduates Kevin has taught during his time at NIDA include, Baz Luhrmann, Richard Roxburgh, Jacqueline McKenzie, Miranda Otto, Cate Blanchett, Essie Davis, Nicholas Bishop & Sam Worthington.
